I have both and I'm staying. I prefer to view myself as one who is smart and old fashioned. Neither is giving me any issues, so if it ain't broke why do away with it?
When all the new fangled stuff breaks, it will be the vintage work-horses who will still be kickin'.

I have clock radios but have VnP for home phone. We have cable. I do have a Vcr as well but it is also a DVD recorder. My husband still has a flip phone.
I have a landline, I have a flip phone, I have a clock radio and I have a Zenith TV that is 35+ years old that has never given me a whit of trouble. I will keep it until it no longer works, but at the rate it's going, it will probably outlive me. I also have a Farberware toaster that is almost 50 years old. I'm not ready to check out yet!
You can't beat a landline. Also, I like to know what time it is if I wake during the night so I have a clock radio with large lighted numerals in a nice green color; I just wanted a clock but the clock radio was cheaper. I don't know how to use the radio or alarm on it.
