In general, do you prefer being the driver or do you prefer being the passenger?

  • Being the driver requires too much concentration. Being the passenger seems to serve me quite well these days.

I' m a control freak too, but I prefer the passenger role. I think it's because I can't control all the other drivers on the road.

Somehow I'm usually the driver. Maybe that indicates a preference but I'm sort of unsure, ha! I never thought about it!

It's a date and a plan! Whatever direction you choose to drive, this song will be first - - and maybe we'll just sit in the car first and watch the video, too -- I like it.  Lots of guys in tank tops, too; added bonus.

I love their cover of the Village People tune!

    "Go West"  Pet Shop Boys
    :)

It probably means you're a natural leader. Whoever is driving is in charge.

That's interesting, JaneS! That's something for me to think about. I've not really thought of myself as a leader-type.

I am usually the driver, but if I'm on the bus, I prefer to be the passenger.

Nor I - I don't think I'm coordinated enough to do the clutch thing. :)

  • In general, and especially with friends, I prefer to be the driver because I drive more safely than my friends do and I'm an expert navigator, so I'd rather be in charge of where we're going than have to give directions to someone else. As road trips with my parents go, I'd rather just sit back and let them drive :)

Do you prefer to be on top or on the bottom?

Six of one, half-dozen of another.

Which ever one takes the least amount of effort.  You've been a bit cranky lately, Sharonna. I hope everything is OK.

Just to clarify....is this about Vehicles?...Or just being in the driver's seat in general?

In most cases, I feel safer being the driver.  There are a few scary, major highways that I have no desire to drive though, so I would have to be a passenger.  But I never feel at ease.
