I think Lulu's Mom is referring to the fatal shooting of Philando Castile by Minneapolis, Minnesota police officer Jeronimo Yañez in 2016, just after Castile had told the officer that he had a gun in the car. Castile had legal ownership of the gun and did not present it to or aim it at the officer.
Such a tragic story. And stories like it seem to be occurring more and more frequently. Just hope there's some way to reverse the pattern and treat each other like human beings again.
I guess never say 'duh'.... BUT, hear me out; was pulled over several years ago for going through yellow light... o.O. He said to me, License/registration, and I pulled out my license, but forgot to go get my reg. in glove compartment. I said, 'Oh let me get the registration, ...duh.' Meaning to MYSELF!!!! Because I was a bit nervous overall and all around... and he said 'I hope that wasn't directed at me.' You could def. tell I meant ME, but I think he wanted to be Very. sure. ... o.O Anyway.. yeah I guess don't say Anything ......:/
