Does drinking alcohol insure that you'll be truthful because it removes inhibitions? Don't "brakes" protect us from catastrophes?

How safe is it to go speeding along the freeways of life brakeless? Isn't a crash the only outcome/endgame for such freedom?  Are you thankful for your brakes or do your rarely use them?

Too much alcohol gets you into all kinds of trouble. Won't make you more truthful but it makes it a whole lot easier to detect you lying.

I always thought alcohol relaxed you so that you weren't uptight or on guard so truth would come out. No? Thank you for your reply Malizz and Happy Monday! :)
