That apostrophe makes the word "legislators" a possessive plural noun, yet within the context of what you've written, it's supposed to merely be a plural noun. In order to be possessive, an item or object that refers to it would have to be identified IN the sentence.
What do you have against proofreading your drivel before posting it, or against editing after posting it?
