You have been on AB and AM for over 10 years and you still EXPECT things?  Well if you want to know what to expect from me?  Know this.  If there is a question on here that allows me to bash Trump?  I will be drawn to it like a glass of cool water to a man dying of thirst.

Indeed I do. I EXPECT people to be civil and polite. I EXPECT them to answer the question I asked. I EXPECT them to be thoughtful, honest and in a best-case scenario I expect them to tell me something I didn't know. I expect to LEARN FROM THEM. Those are my expectations Shar. They have never changed. Sometimes I luck out big time.  That is what keeps me coming back. I have learned to ignore timewasters. I focus on those who have a good track record with me. And so it goes. A life without expectations would hold no appeal for me nor joy. All gray all the time is not sublime. It would be a waste of time. Have I answered your question?

You focus on those who agree with you. If anyone has a differing view, you get mean with them. How can you expect to learn anything if you only listen to like minded people?

I  disagree with thee. An Independent is someone who keeps his/her options open and does not commit to one specific dogmatic rigid political party line. What is the specific dogmatic rigid script of an Independent  RL? There is none. Republicans/Democrats/Libertarians/Green Party et al ARE COMMITTED to specific things.  Therefore I don't quite get your assertion that Independent is a party. What is the difference between Independent and "no party affiliate" in terms of commitment? Thank you for you reply and Happy Thursday! :)

Roguel.   Consider this though.  He was quite conservative and he let Obama have it on that show.  But TRUMP is so OUT TO LUNCH FOR LIFE, that Scarborough is totally offended. SO much so, that he has to LEAVE the show.  That speaks volumes.  Trump swells up with pride this week as his son, Mini-Trump I, waxes profound on how his dad had no illegal ties with Russia.  Trump swells with pride at his son's ....what did he term it?.... oh yes, his son's "transparancy" in his dealings with the media.

TRANSPARENCY.  What a freudian slip that was.  He meant it to be that he had nothing to hide. I see it as the Emperor has NO CLOTHES.  And is parading around making a total ass of himself for all to see once more.

I don't know what any of that has to do with NPA.  Here's the difference. As a no party affiliate, to ME Scarborough was a money grubbing dickhead as a Republican, and he is still a money grubbing dickhead. His party affiliate doesn't matter to me.  When he was a Republican, he was a dickhead to Democrats. Now he has "bailed", he's all of a sudden a great guy to Democrats?  Nope, I don't roll that way. Me neither.  I think he was playing tough guy, but I really didn't watch him.  So, I'm not really sure.  When Obama was in office, I got really kind of turned off by him the second term.  He seemed beaten down quite a bit and I got over watching politics.  I thought forever.  Until PIG BOY got elected that is.

Now, I am forced to look since doom is upon us and life as we know it no longer exists. 

I don't blame Joe Scarborough for jumping ship.  Do you BLAME the guy?  Even if he was a jerk, he is a jerk that took a stand against Trump.  That speaks volumes to me.

I don't care if he "jumps ship" or not, he's still a politician, which means he's untrustworthy no matter what party is his flavor of the day. When I first saw the news headline, I said "who cares"?  He's still the same jackass. I have no love for politicians or the media.
