LOL I *wish* I could collect people :P I did used to in a way... for specific reasons... I never did them any harm and they were happy to be collected... it was fully consensual so to speak... but now I don't do that kind of collecting... I would like to collect some for my new purpose.. online friendship..
Thank you for your reply Addb. I used to do so years ago. But I don't now. It's too exhausting to keep up. I'd go out of my way to be super nice to someone because I felt like it. But then you find it becomes expected of you and that's not fine at all. My own fault. I set up a situation that they thought would always be. I get exuberant at times and go all out..sincerely. But I cannot keep it up. I am not always in an exuberant mood. So I have learned over the years that people spoil easily so don't spoil them. Happy Tuesday! :)
Only in mind and memory. I treasure people. I try to. I even try and treasure my foes because they are teachers in the game of life. Everyone has a purpose. And the old adage, (paraphrased) 'if you truly love someone, set them free; if they return, then that person and you are meant to spend time together'...usually holds true.
