I got rid of the landline phone when my kids were teenagers - and ran up a four figure phone bill calling their friends' mobiles from the landline ($2 a minute). Even the ADSL is naked - sounds like magic to run an internet signal through a dead phone line, but it works.
My husband has a flip phone. A smart phone would not last a day with him. I have a phone. I have a Kyocera Reef but it is out of memory. So I am getting ready to upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy J7 Perx. Probably tomorrow.
Congradulations on your coming new arrival. lol My late husband died using a flip phone. Well, not died using it per say, but he had one until his dying day. He never touched a computer either and he was a criminal attorney. i dont know how he did it. Wait, I did it, I was his secretary...hahahahahahahha....he didnt need me that much, did most of his work by hand. Atlanta men are so strange.
My husband is the same but I have got him to where he can use the computer somewhat...he likes to write his thoughts on Biblical teaching. So he does that and I come back and help editing etc. Anything else on the computer is my job.
I have various mobile phones and have no idea what a flip phone is.....plus I've have no need to go in a cell to communicate with others electronically ........ :(p
It's a name my tormenting younger sister gave me when I was about 13 years old....an older brother overheard her and it kind of stuck with me ever since....even my parents use it when referring to me ....it's not my real name. :)p
