Well, that movie is from 1985. I was 3 when it was released. I'm sure I didn't see it when it was new, but I haven't watched it since I was a child and I still think about it every time I see a port-a-potty. Some things are timeless.
I saw this newspaper story several years ago about this crazy guy who was seen running from a port-a-potty at some public event. He had been hiding IN THE BOTTOM of the women's port-a-potty! He was covered in crap so no one would try to arrest him. I guess he got away. I can't imagine why.
It's not just the Friday the 13th movie that left me with a lifelong fear of them. I've mentioned before that I worked in the construction industry. They were a mainstay at all the sites. I honestly can't handle the mixed stench of the chemicals and human waste. Bile just works it's way up into my throat and I feel like passing out when I merely walk by one. bleah.
