Historical buildingwise do you believe in destroying what is to make room for new or do you prefer to leave tracks so we know whom we were?

no and thats what they did where i live and ive always resented them for it, theyve been doing this for 15 months, they knocked down the library across the street for me to make room for this conference center with a motel etc., for the last 15 months all ive been hearing all day every day is beep beep beep real loud or demolition going on,theyre supposed to open up in sept, Im tired of it, i dont get any sleep cause of them, they wake me up at 7am every morning, and that includes saturdays, last fri night i was online late and wanted to sleep in but they woke me up, i'll be so glad when theyre done, so sick of it, not to mention i lost the library across the street thanks to them. also, i was going to school and thanks to them i could never study or read nothing and i flunked out and lost my grants, guess they dont care how they affect others This post was edited by Pearl at July 24, 2017 3:14 AM MDT

I used to favor historical preservation. No longer. I like the new trend we're engaged in at present. I now lean toward the removal of all monuments, statues, memorial sites, houses, buildings, etc. Spend the money on something worthwhile and useful.
