Here is a little wheat story -------- back in the 1800's, North America was starving. The white and yellow wheat crop failed and there was no bread. Zillions of acres of wheat planted, but it was failing. Meanwhile, a farmer from North America was on vacation in Russia and noticed a wheat field was growing healthy in June. He got some of the seeds. It was the hard red Russian wheat we grow today. So the farmer saved the New World from starvation, and they still use the Russian Hard Red wheat today. The farmer's name seems to be lost to our modern times, but you must understand he was an unknown hero that saved us. If you wish, give thanks to Russia, too.
