  • I really don't think that any form of dissent or diagreement is welcomed in a politically correct society. We're in a cultural war in this nation. In any war, truth is the first casualty. Cordial and civil is wishful thinking in a society that likes to take it to the street and fight it out when someone disagrees.

I 'm asking if YOU  can be civil G. Can you and I be on opposite sides of an issue, discuss our difference in a civil manner without the use of personal attacks? I know I can and have and will continue to do so but if  the other person is unable to do that I do not bother engaging with him or her. Some folks just show  up to attack/insult/argue. I avoid them. They are of no use to me. There are those who can actually carry on lengthy conversations with cordiality and end a conversation with I disagree with thee and let it go at that. Thank you for your reply.  So. Can YOU do that? :)
