Do you have any famous relatives or ancestors?

I am in Ostersund, Sweden now, a town that my great-great-great-grandfather founded.  I went to the archives today to see if I have any living relatives here and the receptionist there was very impressed, said she was "honored" to meet me!  He has a huge monument at the cemetery.  Some other ancestors were very successful at other things.

Actor Franchot Tone was my 4th cousin. He was in many movies ( Mutiny on the Bounty, 1935) plus The Twilight Zone, Wagon Train, Ben Casey etc, television series) He was married to Joan Crawford for a while. Then there was John Reid, an early steam engine builder who built the engine for the Adriatic, a ship featured on a U.S. postage stamp from the 1860's. Then there is a Capt. Lewis who married George Washington's sister, Bess.

    Lol.
When someone says something like bless someones heart, it usually is accompanied by a passive aggressive insult. In my family anyways.
