Discussion»Questions»Human Behavior» Have you compromised your principles or ethics to do anything which was/is a trend among your generation out of fear of social rejection?
When I was about 13 years old, I began to use profanity at school as a way of rebelling because many others were doing it. I didn't dare do it at home. (Shudders violently.)
I experimented with a few things as a teen but I didn't care about social rejection. I still don't care what people think about me. My wife had some of her friends over for a party. I grilled some chicken and we all had a good time, but her friends called me arrogant. I told my wife to thank them.
