I am a massage therapist and any type of makeup just gets in the way. My hair is up and I am plain and all about the massage.
I remember way back when, 3 years ago when I was home and had time to dress like I had all day.
I did all the lipstick colors depending on what color I was. I had different colored hair pieces, I had different colored skin depending on depth of tan, I had different outfits for every hour.
So, I am very good at switching it up or down. For now, it is waaaay down.
All about the business! I've worked in cosmetics for years now so it just seems to come with me! But it's good, considering I sell and apply lipstick I should probably be familiar with it myself. :)
I don't like to fuss with myself once I'm out and about and lipstick usually has to be reapplied repeatedly. So, if I use any kind of color, it's usually a neutral shade or a gloss, so it doesn't look too silly when it starts to wear off and I don't fix it.
Funny you should ask mk1217~ The one item of make-up I do wear almost every day is lipstick or gloss. I have a large range of colors. Probably the colors I wear the most are: shades of pink/tan-ish. Some have a light glimmer to them and some are matte. Some more pink but never bubble gum or stage pink. Some light redish with glimmer. All of this during the day and throughout the day. Sometimes just gloss. It all depends on how tan I am at the moment. In the night I switch to different shades of darker red. Etc. I can't say what my favorite color is because it depends on what I am wearing, how I am wearing my hair, etc. It also depends on how much eye make-up I am wearing which is normally minimal. I will rarely leave the house w/out a tube of lipstick. It is my go-to of all make-up.
