What is a good alternate use for plastic grocery bags.

They make nice accessories when you are wearing a clean, unused black plastic trash bad.

You can tie them together and escape through a window.

You will wish you hadn't asked...  I use them for cleaning out the kitty litter :P

Beautiful, wise, upright, morally correct, intelligent, right thinking, spiritually advanced, godly, ecologically conscious people use reusable, durable, long lasting canvas shopping bags.

Once the groceries have been put away, I use them as garbage bags.

I stuff them under my car seats to use them as garbage bags. I produce a surprising amount of trash in there and I don't want it just scattered about in my car.

Those kind are illegal in South Australia, we only have the heavier reusable ones now.

I hear that they're great for smothering politicians of any party affiliation.

I line the small trashcan in my bathroom with plastic retail bags but not the guest baths.  I hardly ever get them because I get paper bags from the supermarket. 

Really the Trash Bag Man has not answered this????

My schtick has always been about the Tea Baggers

On a trip that involves luggage, they can be used to temporarily store dirty clothes away from the clean clothes.

The Co-op (UK chain) has for a long time printed all sorts of alternative use (not 'alternate' - different meaning), on the cheaper types of their bags.


Rubbish bags, wrappers for paint-brushes, disposable gloves,... I tried to find one to quote but couldn't. Must have used them all.
