That's crazy. It is hard to believe (for some people, that is; for others they may say it's all in a day's work)

But I read that President Trump fired him.

I only just now heard of his removal from his job from your question. I appreciate it!

Welby, the news, REAL and FAKE is pouring in so fast, we need to have our stories ready for Rosie tomorrow.  You know she is going to have a double hernia over this.

Quit of his own accord, or was asked to by His Royal Orangeness? I heard he was fired. Either way, he fandangoed outta there.
Working for the WH is like being on the Apprentice, I think the senile old fool forgets he's not doing that show anymore. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at July 31, 2017 8:50 PM MDT

I PRAY he was fired.  It makes the whole circus even better.

What I know of so far and I have only heard Old School's version that he read....so based on that, I heard that he was kind of pushed out of favor because of who Trump just hired.  John Kelley hates Scaramouch and was highly vocal about it.  Scaramouch said basically, if you guys don't want me, fine.  I'm out of here and he resigned.

I think if this version is true, Scaramouch ran out of there like a scalded cat just to escape.  This was as good a reason as any.

    Hee hee.

And you thought he wouldn't last in that position . . . Just goes to show ya!

Rumor has it that he had a run-in with the new Chief of Staff that ended up with him telling Kelly that he didn't report to him. So now he doesn't . . . . This post was edited by Salt and Red Pepper at July 31, 2017 8:59 PM MDT

It's a play on that old wedding joke where someone that knows the couple runs into them a few weeks after the ceremony and asks how long it's been since the ceremony and then replies with "and "they" said it wouldn't last" after the couple says it's been been a couple of weeks. That's all.

And by the way, do you have Bill's blessing for using Zippy ? Just asking . . .   This post was edited by Salt and Red Pepper at July 31, 2017 9:33 PM MDT

    Ba dum bum.

How many doors are there to go in and out of in the White House, that is the question these days.

Those doors are starting to look like the ones at the Franz Josef Strauss Flughafen Münchenin. Big (for big "baggage") and motorized.

By the way, it was also reported that the entire Trump family was less than happy about the way "mouch" was representing them in public and the public threats of firing staff members for "leaking". That and the insubordination to the new Chief of Staff apparently drove the last nails into his coffin. So while he technically resigned it was a "quit, or be fired" situation as is all too common at these management levels.

Here is what totally puzzles me.   This mooch guy was fawning all over Trump left and right to get this stupid job and the minute he gets hired he BLOWS it.  He was chosen by Trump because I think Trump tries to pick minions that represent his image and likeness and this guy was way too close to the actual mark.  Trump doesn't like himself. How could he?  So he despises his mirror image.

(that's what I think so far)

I thought Kelly booted him.  That's the CNN report.  I looked at their site a while ago.  I didn't read the article, just the headline.

Well, Kelly wanted to.  Scaramouch resigned from what I know (which is unfounded and just what I've heard) but anyway, Scaramouch resigned I think.   But he was kind of bullied out.  HA HA HA HA HA HA

The revolving door that is the Trump party.  What a sham.

I can't stop laughing! I read that he was "removed".

I gotta say, I am a bit sad he's gone so soon. The Mooch would have definitely provided us with some highly entertaining moments.

If nothing else, the Trump presidency has hopefully taught Americans the ability to laugh at ourselves. :)

Laugh at ourselves?  I hardly equate this tale with that of "everyman".  These are a bunch of disjointed goons all trying for a brass ring that doesn't exist.  They don't see it doesn't exist until they get a position in the White House and finally see they have left the frying pan and are either going to burn or they gotta escape and run like a scalded cat.

There is no we here.  I elected Hillary Clinton.

But no one listened to me.

I'm sure he resigned the minute he was fired. An open jar of mayonnaise on a hot summer day has a longer shelf life than White House staffers. Hope Conway has her bags packed because I'm ready to do my happy dance.

Kelly wasn't about to take any crap from him.  Huckleberry Sanders said that Trump thought Mooch's screed to that reporter was completely inappropriate.  My guess is that Kelly said if you don't resign, we'll fire you.  Either way, the wood chipper has another dinner to consume.
