Why isn't the afterlife referred to as the afterdeath? When you think about it, that's technically what it is.

  • Afterdeath makes sense so it could work.
    For life to end death has to occur so the term "Afterlife" is implying that death has already occurred so it works too.

    'Afterlife' is nicer to say than 'afterdeath'. Both terms mean the same anyway. 

    Afterdeath means making funeral arrangements and stuff like that.
