Afghanis will kill more Afghanis and their major export and source of income, opium, would be in jeopardy.

Among other things, a HUGE loss in profits for companies like Lockheed Martin and Boeing.

We're damned if we do and damned if we don't.  Afghanistan is not like Europe was after WWII where we were able to help them rebuild and become economically sound.  The longer we stay, the more it costs us and the more lives we lose.  Frankly, I'm not sure there is such a thing as a "win" there.  They will always be susceptible to groups like the Taliban, Al Qaeda and ISIS.  For my part, we could pull out tomorrow and nothing would change.  The same can be said if we stay there.

  • Drug company profits will drop from the drop of in PTSD.  Less Americans and its allies, but the roughly the same number of Afghanis will die in war.   Defence contractors children will have smaller trust funds.
