Discussion»Questions»Human Behavior» You won't work certain jobs for the low wages they pay but you also don't want immigrants to work them either. How does that make sense?
That is a symptom of a cultural collapse. All cultures eventually collapse, all in the same general way and for the same general reasons. Here is a long explanation: https://comingdarkage.blogspot.com/
You're on a roll today JV to my great good fortune! Thank you for your reply and the link you provided which I shall click on as soon as I end this post! :):):) That's why I show up here every day. Hoping for responses likes yours so I can learn about things I don't know! There are an awful lot of them sad to say! :) I just looked at the Table of Contents. That in itself is mindblowingly scary. It's a very long read but I will. I can't say I'm looking forward to it. Not your fault of course. The bearer of bad news never is responsible for what he/she reports. Thanks again. SIGH. :(

Would the wages be low if not for immigrants wanting to work them? Again your premise is wrong and again you fail to see cause and effect. No one can work those jobs without government subsidy which negates the benefits society receives from cheap labor by the new burdens placed on government programs. What you don't pay at the market you then pay by higher taxes.
