"Didn't usta be so bad"? WTF? We've ALWAYS had these problems. Persecuted and killed for religious beliefs, immigration bans in one form or another, and killing unarmed African Americans, all of these and more, have been issues here even prior to the formation of this country.

I don't like Trump, I don't like what he's doing, but I don't think those situations you mention have grown any worse over the past 6 months. We've been in this mode since Sept 11, 2001. But as far as banning immigrants, look to our history to see how we've treated immigrants when it's suited us. https://www.fairus.org/facts/us_laws As far as killing unarmed African Americans, I know your memory isn't that short. How many lynchings over the centuries has the black population endured? I think the stats on those issues over the past 6 months is nothing compared to our past.

History lessons would do you a lot of good. The people of this country have been doing all of that even since before it was a country. Have you ever heard of all the lynchings that took place in Jim Crow years, The Chinese Exclusion Act? Wait, you're neither an immigrant to this country, a mosque attendee nor black, so you're allowed to either pretend or forget.
