They want to CONSERVE their particular way of life that has long gone the way of the 50's. That conservative mindset has gotten us here.
They are trying to cling on to the past. Donna Reed Show people with the wives in the high heels doing the housework while hubby brings home the bacon and has a babe on the side for good measure.
Those halcyon days when women were barefoot and pregnant and men were men and did the thinking for all women and oppressed peoples who should be maids and butlers and know their place in life so whitey can have the best of everything. OF COURSE.
That's CONSERVATISM.
Conservatives call anyone who is not in their social club, LIBERALS.
My own father had 2 chicks on the side. Mabel Cherry and Avis Myers. After he split with my mother, he married Avis. Soon after, she got Alzheimers in her 40's. I can assure you that I have never strayed from my wife.
We do want to conserve everything. We're just unwilling to throw one thing under the bus to supposedly conserve another.
The left talk about conserving the planet through the deliberate economic suppression of the world, and policies designed to suppress birth rates. Its solution to every problem (real or imagined) is to empower the state a little further. It's all just a pretext for control.
Instead we should be solving problems through innovation while conserving individuality, prosperity and liberty.
