I no longer buy Nabisco products.  They accepted millions of dollars to continue their business in the U.S.  they took the money, upgraded their processing plants and then sold at least part of the company to a Mexican entity and moved those jobs to Mexico.

I hated to give up my Oreos and my Ritz crackers, but hey - if you can't stand for your principles, what good are you?

I haven't bought a Yingling beer for decades.  I once sent them a sample of one of their beers I thought might have been tampered with - I was doing them a favor to alert them to a possible serious problem - and they refused to repay me for the postage, even after several phone calls.  They ended up losing my business, much more than the postage cost.

I don't do business with Walmart in any significant way.    Disney is another one I try to avoid.

  • I stay away from Walmart, unless I'm with someone who goes there. I haven't liked them in years.

We have Verizon.  Why don't you do business with them?

  • Hate to say it, but I am a smoker. I roll my own so it's a lot cheaper.

They just signed a bill here in NYC that the minimum price for a pack of cigarettes is $13.  Can you imagine?  I was a smoker and gave it up when the price was $1.25 a pack and I thought that was a lot.  I don't know how people can afford to smoke.

  • Some American friends are boycotting Starbucks. I never had an desire to go there anyhow, so I join their boycott.
