Do people ever consider future sammich-making when they go on a first date?

He's thinking: ((((Sure, she's cute, polite, kind, educated, successful, moral, health-conscious and sexy, but is she any good at making me sammiches?  Life is a crap-shoot . . . ))))

She's thinking: ((((Sure, he's handsome, charming, witty, funny, gentlemanly, hard-working, accomplished, responsible, sensual, educated, successful, but will he like the way I make sammiches for him? Maybe I'm better off alone . . . ))))

You're right; there is no way possible that she's up to standards.

Or ... she's thinking, I don't want to spend the rest of my life making sammiches for Randy D. The man does nothing but eat!

You say it as if it's a bad thing.  That's cruel.

Some say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. It's the same way with women...

Randy D, I don't have an answer but the way you worded your question made me laugh out loud! Ha!
    :)
I just chimed in to let you know.

(That woman in the image you posted is gorgeous!)

It sucks being around men that don't like to eat.  I like sandwich making.  It gives me a power over them.  Just like leaving out that hyphen gives you power over me.

I got one right in my house.   He likes food.  He doesn't like home-made food.  It's all about packaged goods ready-made or fast food or WhattaBurger.

People like my cooking. It is really a strange situation.   I don't really care, but I'm mostly confused.  Oh, wait.  I really don't care.

That's the spirit. If I lived with you, I'd wind up having "Goodyear" stamped on my behind.

No.  I left it for you.  You are never satisfied.  Have another sandwich, dear.

Sandwiches always taste better when someone else makes them. It's scientifically proven. Moot question.

For considering my question moot, your penance is to wear something skimpy when you serve me my Skippy.

Yes they do which is why there's no Burger Queen.  The sandwich needed just one more inch and it didn't live up to the claim.

  • I never think of such things as that. I rarely eat sandwiches. If a man wants sandwiches, he can make them as he likes. I am not a servant to a man. I do not want any man who sees me as a servant.

    WHAT??

And here I thought I was a disgrace to feminism! I'll happily make sandwiches, but washing cars is the man's job, dammit!

Nope. I tell myself that when I'm trying really hard to think of things to put on the positive column of my mental list of reasons for/against dating.

So far, the positive side pretty much consists of money, sex and "man chores".

Needless to say, I'm not dating.
