Let's see. Proclaim that people should just IGNORE what they don't like on AnswerMug and then post questions and responses about how awful the people who don't ignore things are.Why does this sound a tad....
To be fair, Sharonna, you also misrepresented some of Karen's points. She didn't come near to writing some of the things you put in your posts about people leaving the website.
It seems Shar is talking about Karen. I knew nothing about this. I don't want either of them to leave. I like it better since the ones I liked the least are gone. No hate....but you can't be crazy about everyone. I was sick of every post alluding to a sexual act. I'm no prude but some days I stayed away because it was, collectively, just too offensive to me. That is on top of the daily Fifty Ways to Disparage Your President.

Shar may be talking about Karen, but she's not quoting her. Karen doesn't use the name "AnswerMug" anywhere in the letter ... which would be in bad form. She's smarter than that. She also only used the word "hate" once in the letter ... "I'm just sick of all the hate stinking up the air around here." ... and never said she hated the site. (saying that could get her kicked-off the site ... to never return.)
But you can read all of this for yourself and probably did.
I did. I had no idea Karen operated as Benedict Arnold. I've seen that user and never even read his posts. I thought I knew who "he" was. I'll keep in contact with her on other sites. I would be sad if I lost contact with her.
"Benedict Arnold" is tge default name for extant posts from an account that has since been closed. She never operated as "BA", in fact I don't believe that you can - you'd need to check with JustAsking.
Yep, that can happen when folks get too emotionally invested in a Q&A site. It's quite simple to succeed in this environment in all honesty. Ask questions, answer questions. That's all you need to do to get by. All of the extra baggage is unnecessary.
