Here's a good true story for ya --------------- Some years ago, I was playing golf alone and caught up with a slower group on the last hole. As we walked down the last fairway, one of these other players introduced themselves to me as a pastor at a local church. Then he asked me if I was going to Heaven or Hell. I told him that I didn't really know, but I just hope they had a golf course there! He never spoke to me again.
Death is the final cessation of all functions of the body. Some dead bodies go to graves, and some are cremated, but some may be lost in seas, forests, deserts, etc. There is no objective evidence that any sort of after life exists. Death is having an endless and dreamless sleep. Good or bad, animal or plant, etc., all share the same fate. There is nothingness before birth and after death.
