  •  Probably... but there are tons of people who do it.

I wouldn't normally... I am not into all that.. I feel that it's a bit self indulgent.. or maybe I am on a higher plane of existence where I don't need that as I am able to analyse and understand my thoughts and feelings as they arise so I don't need to constantly harp back to see how I feel and felt...

But I am having to keep a journal for my course... so I am being a good girl and doing as I am told... in fact I have just written today's one :)

  • Depends on how you look at it... but it's great that you feel so together about yourself. :)
I started keeping an online one around 3 years ago, I don't know why exactly. The whole things was going on and off. I have a paper one too where I mostly put thoughts, quotes, some secret family recipe, memorable days, and stuff. It's sort of like a little hobby.

Nah. Nobody else would read it and I was there so I already know the stuff. It would be like reading your own autobiography.

Of course. I have to write everyday. I write a whole 5 subject notebook in about a month or less.

  • Umm...I don't have a journal, but I do write down my thoughts about women.
    I'm trying to understand them.
I keep my "Ah Ha" moments written neatly on napkins and stored nicely folded in a pair of dress shoes in a cabinet above my bed.
Someday before I go on my first date since my marriage ended I will quickly study everything I've learned and I hope to make my next girlfriend so happy that she can't stand it.

Thanks. : ) This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at September 15, 2017 6:40 PM MDT

  • Hmmm. Cabinet?

Well, you gonna have to buy a bigger closet for that.

If you ever DO understand them, publish it. You'll make millions.

My diary only has future appointments, frequently illegibly.

No.  When I was young I wanted to keep a journal of my life and had every intention.  I don't know when I stopped.  I wish I hadn't. I always tell young folks to do it because it will be grand when they are older to remember even small happenings.

No.  I fail to see the necessity of committing my entire life to paper.  I've already lived it and no one else is going to care.

  • I don't think you're boring and I'd read your diary.
I think you're really funny and you ask great questions. : )
