There is something completely haywire about someone who respects a symbol but totally disrespects what the symbol represents. Isn't there?

You respect a flag and completely disrespect the country and its people. A good trick which makes no sense at  all. But then The Donald John seldom does.:(

    No, you have no idea what the difference is between the state, the nation, society and individual.

    The flag represents the U.S. not the people who live in it. It represents the nation not the people (neither collectively nor individually). It does not represent the state or those individuals who hold state power.

    Trump has much respect for the U.S. and his whole political philosophy is based on putting the U.S. first instead of selling out to globalist interests. So of course he reveres the flag and is offended by people who disrespect it.

    People who disrespect the flag are traitors. They're luck they aren't just put up against a brick wall and shot, and you're worried about them receiving some light criticism. What the hell are you talking about? This post was edited by Zeitgeist at September 24, 2017 12:18 PM MDT
