He used to be pro, but then he backed off some. It's probably the only thing he's ever tried to be diplomatic about. Last I heard, he said medical MJ warranted further research.
His stand as President doesn't much matter. It means no more or less than does the stand of any other citizen. (OK, he may have the power to order his FDA to "re-classify" it, but even that Constitution hating Obama wouldn't go there for some reason.)
In fact, by not enforcing the still standing Federal laws that prohibit its use across the board (as a Class 1 drug it's possession and use is no more legal than is that of one of Bayer's first drugs, heroin) he's in breach of his Oath of Office. (A real impeachable offense if you're looking for something to call him on the carpet over.)
It's the "stand" that Congress has regarding legislation as to its possession and use that's germane. So far they haven't repealed the laws banning its use.
