When Melania Trump offered a gift of Dr. Seuss books to a school the Librarian turned it down saying her school was well-funded and didn't need them and that they should be given to underfunded and underprivileged schools. I would have thanked her and given the books to a needy school. I don't see the need for making such a big deal out of a gift. I think it was rude and really didn't serve any good purpose. The books could have gone to the needy school(s) quietly. Why make such a case out of it? What would you have done and why?
