I'm more cautious about crossing at an intersection when I have the green light.  One time a nut blew through the red and missed me by about 2 feet. If I had started crossing about 1 second earlier..

My favorite line from the scary TV show from 1997 (I believe) was uttered by the dark, evilish sheriff of a southern USA area (the show was like an evil Andy Griffith show).

"Conscience is just the fear of gettin' caught."

~ 'Sheriff Lucas Buck' (played by actor Gary Cole)

    :)

OH!!  The TV show was "American Gothic" -- lasted less than one season though it deserved a much better fate. This post was edited by WelbyQuentin at October 5, 2017 10:57 PM MDT

I have a T-shirt with the quote. (Official souvenir/collector merchandise from when the show ["American Gothic"] was on.)
