Yep. Twice I went there because I needed a cheep pair of shorts to work in. Instead I found good shorts that I can wear anywhere for $2 and $5! One pair still had the plastic that held the tags on.
I know. Sometimes you can find stuff that still has the original price tag on it, designer stuff and really nice things for really cheap. THanks CallMelshmael. ;)
Flea markets are great, but ours is too far to be worth the trouble. Yard sales around here usually dont have good stuff , but I still look anyway. Thanks my2cents. ;)
Yes, both. I've found out, however, that their prices are usually much higher than other thrift stores or second-hand shops in my city, so I don't go to them very often any more.
I wish they had a good thrift store or two where i live. They dont. I like to go to the Goodwill or Salvation army for stuff, but you really have to look hard for things worth buying. Sometimes they have pretty neat furniture or mirrors. Thanks Birthday Boy. HAPPY BIRTHDAY.....love carbonproduct. ;)
Sometimes. There is a Goodwill here that often has decent young men's clothing, on account of it being a college town. I've found some good stuff there.
Salvation Army, frequently. My son is a member of the church (soldier), and the nearest thrift shop is only around the corner. The Uniting church and Save the Children thrift shops are also nearby, St Vincent de Paul only a little further. The nearest Goodwill is too far away to be worthwhile.
