    "Sacred"? What a dingbat!

Women are more respected right now than at any time in history. But there is nothing sacred about them.

He actually said that women used to be sacred and lamented that that is no longer the case.

It was a private conversation among men, which is not the same as saying it with women present or publicly.

It's not homage but it's not sacrilege either. It's just men being men.
