Here's the question of the CENTURY. Name JUST ONE issue Trump stands for that you could be proud to back? ONE. Just ONE.

I'll bet you cannot do it.

The song doesn't exactly fit him, but the title does.  I am not wasting any more time on being clever just to pose a question about him.

My 2, I think Old School answered this for you in detail.  This is a perfect example of a TRUMP voter.  Just deny hearing anything but what Donald tells you to think even though it is total nonsense.

You are the perfect Trumpette.  Congrats.  Now go back to watching Fox news and destroy what is left of your brain.

  • This is interesting ... I live in Australia and we feel ee are being screwed by the current trade deal with you guys over many things ... We have a subsidised health care but American big pharma ate threatening it .. Same with one of your large shoe companies. .. They copy righted the name Ugh boot and are insisting the Australian company that invented the boot and the name both stop using the name and stop making them. .. and this is all under the trade deal

By being strong, and smart. What America needs is a strong, smart leader with a very good brain. And way fewer Mexicans and Muslims.

@oz girl - Not to worry, Big Pharma is screwing us Americans, too. As for the boots, are they not trademarked by the Australian company that originated them?

Securing our borders. Stopping the flow of refugees. Getting NATO to pay their fair share. Of course what he says today, might change tomorrow.

Oh, I think Trump identifies several issues which are relevant. Some other posters have identified some of them (e.g. immigration policy, trade policy, defense spending, how to deal with ISIS, etc.).

Trump is very good at identifying which issues concern many Americans. What he completely lacks are any credible solutions for addressing them, nor does he have any credible track record of being able to deal with similar issues.

I think the way to understand a large proportion of Trump voters who aren't simply racist/xenophobic (although data analysis suggests racism/xenopobia is the strongest predictor of Trump support) is that they are simply fed up with the status quo. Trump represents to them a way of shaking up the status quo, and any explanation they give is simply rationalization of their desire to Stick It to The Man.

OS - you've hit the nail on the head.  We don't really need someone to tell us what issues we need to deal with, we need someone to actually deal with them and the current crop of politicians and their predecessors haven't done very well.  We're tired of the same old, same old and Trump is voicing what many people are not able to say themselves.  The question is whether he would be any better at resolving these problems than who we have now and I'm not certain he would.

Okay.  Good at identifying.     Got it.

No solutions.   No credibility.  Got it.

You forgot one.   This used to be a negative.  He has turned it into GOLD.

His former wife, Ivana, an even better businessman than he ever was, says that she, of course, is voting for him.  When asked why, she stated that he was a businessman and he knows how to make deals.

I think she and his voters think this is some skill that can be carried into any career.   Remember My 2 Cents telling us that he is going to make better trade deals?  Apparently the way to success in the Oval office is simply knowing the art of this DEAL thing.   The term "deal" to his voters apparently is defined as this magical ability that only a business magnate of his stature can possibly understand.   We wouldn't understand if he told us how, what, when or why this dealing works so well on:

    1. the economy

    2. violence in America

    3. ISIS

    4. trade deals (lol)

    5. foreign policies

    6. equal rights/ equal pay

    7. the job situation

    8. those pesky immigrants

    9.  women's rights

    10.  Those pesky Mexicans

It's so simple.  I wonder how the rest of the leaders of this country escaped learning how to be such great dealers?  Maybe we are all panicking over Trump's possible election for naught.  Maybe we just do not realize how important his dealing ability actually is.

That is the underlying theme, he knows how to make deals.   Like that means ANY THING at ALL.

I like freebies, as long as it's not HIV.

Say what you want.  I know the NAFTA shut down many many factories in this country.  In my home town there were 6 good paying factory before it was signed by Clinton.  Now there is 2.  All of those people lost their good jobs.  Yes they got jobs now (Walmart, McDs) but not what they had.  Those jobs went to Mexico.  They were even required to train their replacements and could not tell them what they were being paid.  That is what I know...I seen it first hand.  Trade deals help no one except Wall Street.  Do I think Trump will do better? Yes...he sure cannot do worse.

And as I have told you more than once I watch all the news stations not just Fox.

You are seriously in need of help. I don't know why you're so hateful but like a lot of liberal lemmings, you're following leaders that gloat about the way they can lie and it makes no difference to you.
