If you consider any sphere to be a ball, then marbles would be my choice. It was quite popular when I was a youngster.

    Unicycle Football

I saw a video of it the other day.
Though it's popular enough to have a "league" and "playoffs" and a "stupor bowl" (yes, I said "stupor bowl".  it's what they call it)

What exactly do you mean by "ball" and "not so popular"? Cornhole is played with a beanbag that resembles a ball about as much as a football does, and more people play it. Most people only watch football.

I is very popular in Italy. It gives old men something to do. I have played it. It is a lot of fun, especially if you have been drinking.

It's getting very popular here; every community, apartment or condominium, or park has a court.  I've played twice and thought it was fun too.

  • Its a game with a small rubber ball and metal crosses, the idea is to bounce the ball, pick up as many crosses as you can and catch the ball as it comes back down.

  • "Tether Ball" ... the only place I've ever seen it played was in Elementary School.
