    You have no idea how much I could use one of those right now.  I spend a couple hours a day driving and think about how nice it would be to have one of those cars all the time, in bad weather especially.

    If I do have to "grab" the wheel, it will take me a second or so to figure out what I need to do.

    That may be less time than I need---and I wouldn't need it if I were driving the car and constantly evaluating the situations I encountered.

    No, not yet.  What if there's a construction zone, a funeral, a parade or some other irregular event.  If the self-driving car wasn't programmed to handle it, the result could be catastrophic.
