Do you think actors make good politicians?

  I think it's too general to say either yes or no. An actor or an actress in general?  Just like people of any other background, a person's competence, honesty, empathy, etc are the qualities I seek in a politician, so if she or he started out in the acting field and becomes a politician, I can neither accept or reject them based merely on former profession. Regardless of a person's background, making a good politician can be a crapshoot. For example, look at all the life-long career politicians who are terrible at what they do.

Not necessarily but politicians would make good actors as they have served a long apprenticeship in the art.

Don't know about that but a lot of politicians are certainly good actors (and con artists) when they're on the campaign trail.
