Would you accept ugly as long as the ugly works or would you prefer that it be beautiful? How important is beauty to you?

A treat for the eye or a blight? Is function the most important thing to you? What are you willing to give up for it if you have to do so?

Back in my teen years, I had a white 1966 Honda 305 Dream Touring motorcycle. It was odd looking, not sporty at all. My riding buddies called it 'The Refrigerator' or 'The Boxcar' because of it's weird square styling. It was a great little bike and I rode it all over the place. In fact, I have a nice example of the same model sitting in the garage right now.

You know what bh? I think there IS a certain beauty in being unique/odd/different. I do. In a time when everyone looks alike after plastic surgery it's refreshing to find honest and natural without any attempt to wear a mask.  Also you can get attached to things for a variety of reasons and they really are BEAUTIFUL in your eyes not just for the packaging but for what they represent. Did you name your car? Thank you for your reply m'dear! :) This post was edited by RosieG at October 30, 2017 5:53 AM MDT
