How do you think we got together in the first place? We have similar tastes in humour, music, movies, foods (except that she has to go for gluten free versions).
An ideal match! Fate. Thank you for your reply Sbf. All I know is that from the first day we met Jim made me laugh. We started off as acquaintances, then friends and then you know the rest. A day hasn't gone by (well..except if we're going through a sadness due to loss of a loved one) that we don't laugh. The nice thing is I make him laugh as often as he makes me laugh. We're balanced that way I guess. Do we ALWAYS agree on everything? He** no! But we ALWAYS agree on the important stuff. ALWAYS. :)
We are both pretty serious though we can enjoy sometimes the silliness of others, especially of real life in general. I guess in a way yes because we both have what could be called more "dry" senses of humor. Understated and not obvious. Haha at least I don't have to do such groaning!
I'm mostly tolerated by them and I think they realise after 13 years together that I'm pretty much unchanged able now.......I'm getting far worse as I'm getting older and try desperatly to bite my tongue when we're out at certain functions ......sometimes I manage it but so often I can't...
