1. Always have his self-interest at heart
2. Always lie
3. Think the world belongs to him as all sick Narcissists think.
4. Disrespect anything female, even his puppet wife.
5. LOSE the Presidency. He will screw it up royally before this is over. He will manage to alienate any last vestige of sane people and hopefully there are enough of us to make him DISAPPEAR.
I trust "the Donald" about as much as I trust Hillary, which is to say not at all. They're both so crooked that they each have to screw their pants (or pantsuit slacks) on every morning. It's just that one claims to have a left-hand twist, the other right-handed.
But I prefer Trump over Clinton for the Oval Office. As a white man with a strong propensity to self aggrandize he won't be able to pass gas without the press analyzing it to see what he had for lunch for the last three days. On the other hand Hillary, as the first distaff President, will probably be able to get away with anything up to (and maybe including) mass genocide without being placed under that microscope.
The world isn't black and white. I trust myself, my family and a handful of close friends. Everyone else in the world is a shade of grey or worse.
Leaders are never perfect because desiring power contains sin within itself. They're never going to be saintly. So none of them really merit trust. People need to be more pragmatic.
You should really ask "Do you trust Donald Trump more than Hillary Clinton?" My answer is yes absolutely. Hillary is a criminal ****. If half of what I suspect her of doing is true, she deserves to spend the rest of her life in prison or be executed.
I believe that the establishment hates Trump's guts (always an incredibly good sign).
I believe he's not a closet communist.
I believe he has a real shot at winning.
These things alone give me more confidence in him than any other politician I can think of.

What I CAN provide large amounts of evidence for is your tendency to offer up such subjective fact-free beliefs as though they were empirical truths, simply because you REALLY WANT to believe they are true. There's a phrase to describe that sort of behavior.

Your belief he has a real shot at winning is better supported, but again, if Bernie Sanders had somehow beaten HRC in the primary, most polling indicates he would have wiped the floor with Trump. Does that mean you'd switch your support to Sanders under those circumstances? No, I didn't think so.

Of course it's my opinion!!! I was asked for my opinion and I gave my opinion. We talk about whether we trust people or not BECAUSE we are ignorant. If there truly was conclusive evidence either way, the matter would be settled and there would be no point discussing it.

The establishment doesn't hate ISIS. (The establishment created ISIS. It's actually a proxy army of western intelligence.) Though I take your point. I was talking about politicians within the mainstream of American values.

Not so. Plenty of republicans are closet communists. It's not stupid either. It's quite ingenious actually. Corporatist kleptocrats like to play both sides. They want capitalism for themselves and socialism for everyone else. It's a way to suppress their competition and dominate. Hillary Clinton shows all the signs of being that kind of operative.

I know Trump has an ego. He does not want to be a 1 term Pres. or labeled as a do nothing Pres. so I believe he will try to do what he is saying.
