It's actually an island then......who lived there and a was you there on it during the Second World War ? 

Has the indigenous people got their island back ? 

I was there during Vietnam on a submarine repair ship. The folks there were just like us...most of them spoke English. They, like Puerto Rico, are under US protection. Notice the Naval base. My ship was stationed just North of there. Some nice beaches there.

Ship. Submarine are called 'boats' The citizens of Guam own Guam. We just protect it and use it as a launch platform for subs and aircraft.

I think we lost each other because I was totally gone for about 5 months getting out of school and going to another even harder one for 10 weeks.  I was off here and you were still on and I came back and you were gone but you had something insane like 35,000 points so I know you were prolific whilst I was not on here.  I still have not caught up to that number and I was going great guns on here for about 2 months.    But here you are and it is great to interact with you of course.  Thank God for you.  LOL
