  • Not much. I was 3 and turned 4 that year. I must've been potty trained that year, but thankfully I don't remember it :P

  • I joined the ranks of the unemployed. It would last a year before it was over.

I once was unemployed for eight months. A year is not uncommon.

Ah...my first year of teaching. And getting thrown out of the house by my first wife.

For me it was a "stand out year" but I was still a teenager, back when time moved more slowly.

Apparently nothing. I had to look up the year and look around.
Surely there were major events that I know about but I didn't keep the year in my head over the years.

One of the quirkiest and best movies I've seen premiered in that year, though.

    "Welcome to the Dollhouse"

  • I think that was the year I left Montreal, Quebec and moved to Ontario. If I was fifteenish or 16ish ... I can't suss the math ... I just remember people weren't very pretty outside of Montreal , but they were a lot kinder. Or I remember cartoon movie Toy Story.
