Jim Crowe found a very clever solution to a problem where his beloved son was receiving what he perceived to be a sort-of protection. He wanted his son to be respected and raised to the level of his peers. A level he deserved by right of his being a human being.
Now Donald. He named his son Baron to raise his brat above other people, and it is undeserved. He wants to protect his NAME and put BARON in front of it. He is a walking bladder of ego, that one.

Chelsea is adorable. People who want an adorable name and are old hippies, made it fashioable. Hillary was young during that era, thus, Chelsea.
The town in London was named after a woman NAMED Chelsea. There are tons of states and towns and all manner of landmarks that have women's names. No big whoop.
Baron is a title. He named his kid a TITLE so that people would think he WAS Baron Trump. So, pathetic. I wonder if the kid's middle name is Von

LOL I do tend to go overboard on all things Trump. But I have to admit, hearing BARON and Trump describing the same person, kind of nauseates me.
No. I think he had plans to name his baby, 10 years ago that name. That is his youngest's name and I think the child is about 10.
I realize now that it is a common enough name. I just glommed onto the meaning when he named his son that name. It has nothing to do with him being president. He has planned his BRAND long before any consideration of making himself an ass on the American Political arena.
Baron is cute for a normal boy. As long as you are not trying to pass him off as a Baron. Like one Mugger mentioned, Earl is a common enough name too.
