Ewwww, Rosie.  Why take that stance?

Let them go.  Don't think Go to Hell.

Ignore with love.  Or say "OH, really?  Is that so? "  LOL and then ignore them.

Don't waste your energy on being angry.  Why bother.  And saying, even silently, go to hell, just ruins your moment in time.

Hahahahahahahaha! Very funny hunnee! Yes I got it! Many mercis for the laughs! I don't know if you follow the sport at all but there was local guy (way before your time) who invented a way to jump over a high hurdle. He approached it BACKWARDS and went over  BACKWARDS and as a result what he did was named after him. I forget his name but maybe others know it. I think he went to UCLA or something. You know what? I'm gonna Google it and see if I can find it then I shall return here and letcha know. Thank you for your clever post and Happy Thursday NJ! :) Here I am again! His name was Dick Fosbury and it was called The Fosbury Flop. He won an Olympic gold medal with it and changed high hurdle jumping forever! :) This post was edited by RosieG at December 7, 2017 1:29 PM MST

  • I think you're right?
If someone really bothers me I'll just ignore them and it does affect them more.
When that person is miserable they randomly text me and try to make me miserable too.
Now I  just ignore that certain person and it makes her really mad that she can't control my mood anymore.
It's way better for me than engaging her and getting back together or getting in a fight like she wants.
I just take a deep breath, turn off my phone and go do something else.
    Then I'm happy again.
    Happy Thursday. : )

Ya wanna know how I start my day on Answermug my friend? I review who is responding to my questions and immediately delete the ones I know will make me unhappy because all they ever do is attack/insult me. I don't read them. I just delete them. Then I already feel better. When I'm on a thread I just skip over them without reading a word. Every once in awhile I might glance at one just to see what's there. If it is civil, helpful, useful and thoughtful I will reply and thank the person. Most of the time I don't care to find out. Once burned twice shy. Twice burned and you deserve what you get. So I happily ignore the chaff and focus on the wheat! Whatever they say bothers me NOT because it doesn't exist in my world!  We all control with whom we engage after all. Thank you for your reply Truthseeker and Happy Friday! :)

Well I would not wish hell on anyone.  People make their own hells.

  • Sounds like an excuse for a lack of credibility. If you close your eyes, then the problem doesn't exist anymore. The only obstacle is your refusal to acknowledge that there are people who disagree with you that are right on target. It's really sad.
