Promises were made during campaigns that missing socks would be searched for. We voted, they won. When will the searches begin?

I heard that the "terrific health care with low deductions and great benefits" health care plan was stuffed into one of those socks.

   Latest wire releases state that there it is a jurisdictional issue involving the FBI and Homeland Security as to the lead on the searches.
Homeland Security claims that because socks are closer to the land most pieces of clothing, they should lead the searches.  The FBI's spokesman claims that there is no jurisdictional issue.  That Homeland Security is holding the socks for ransom in a pizza parlor basement in Queens
