America stands out like a sore thumb or a bad punchline. Other countries hire experienced pols/limit their power. We hire pretenders. Why?

Other countries get seasoned politicians whose power they limit (excluding despot/dictator countries of course). America hires broken-down ex-actors and reality show blowhards to be its prez. You ask why? Good question. I don't have the answer.

A person can't easily get political experience without kissing establishment ass. Anyone who has done so can't be trusted. The political establishment in the U.S., and the world in general, is evil.

Almost all the relevant experience can be found in other jobs. There are plenty of people with no political experience who are well equipped to enter politics.

Wanting experienced pols is just positive spin for "I want the same leftist / RINO swamp creatures that have been running society to continue running society. I stand for the status quo."

The U.S. does limit individual powers. Not as much as it used to. The establishment has been expanding executive power for decades believing that no one could ever rise to the office of the president without kneeling to them. They deserve to have their weapon used against them.

If Trump and his people lack experience in anything, it's how to best to suppress and dominate leftist trash. They're learning. Give them time. This post was edited by Zeitgeist at December 18, 2017 1:49 PM MST
