About two or three years ago.  It turns out there's a zero-tolerance program against seatbelt violations.  And you?

The little head on collision I got in on November 15th , 2014 (same day and year my grandson was born) where I broke 16 ribs. It was the other guys fault as much as my own.  I got a failing to yield and he got a speeding ticket I presume.

  • "In 1999, I think it was, I was cited for being over-weight.
My company had told me to take the load and they paid the fine.

Nice rig. My son has a two truck trucking company. He has been overweight himself, not him, per say, his trucks. ;))

  • I understand. Tell him to watch it though, a lot of drivers wind up over-weight too.  :))

It's people like you that deprive the police and government of hundred and thousands of dollars in fines each year.... ....you also depriving solicitors ,lawyers and the entire  legal system of even vaster amounts of money

These people will no longer be able to run their ocean going yachts and huge airplanes if you refuse to drive for much longer.....:(

  • Six months ago, commuting two hours to uni, picked up four hitch-hikers just outside a small village - youths trying to get home after a festival.
They all bundled into the back of the van.
Half-way there, the police had set up a random-breath testing station. They tested me for drugs and alcohol - which was negative (with me, that's the norm), but copped me for carrying passengers without seats or seat belts- $1300 and 6 points off my license.
    Ouch!
I will not be picking up hitchers again.
