Whats an awful name for a road or street?

  • Whichever street my ex wife lives on.
It should be called "absentee parent lane."
She just completely abandons her parental responsibilies and it drives me crazy.

  • Thanks.
She just up and leaves for 3 days during the week and couldn't care less about our son.
    She does this a lot.
Just expects me to work and look after my son and feed him 3 times a day and take him to and from school.
I do it, but she could be a mom for once and f__kin help you know?
    Irritates me.
    He's a great kid.
My ex only cares about herself sometimes.
    Thanks

I know it is very frustrating because she is being selfish and not doing what is best for your son.

  • Thanks.
I just get mad because I end up having to leave him with my mom while I work.
She raised her 3 kids and worked her guts out for 30 some years already.
She should only have her grandkids when it is convenient for her not every time my ex takes off.
She wanted to be a mom so she should put in her time as a parent and stop taking advantage.
    There.
Feels good to vent. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at December 17, 2017 2:07 PM MST

Sounds like we are talking about the same kind of selfishness. Its sad that they are only missing out on the joy that their children can briing. One day they will regret it im sure.

  • I know right?
She seems to want to go party while she's still in her 30's, but our child is growing fast and she's missing out on being a real parent.
I guess she just likes to take him travelling or to her friends parties and then drop him off for me to do the all the daily stuff.
She doesn't pay child support or anything either.
Some days I feel overwhelmed by her bullsh_t.
Anyway, luckily I have my son and s job and my own place etc. and my mom is nice enough to put her life on hold and watch him while I work.
Thanks, I just need to talk about it sometimes because she is such a liar and nobody here knows the truth about what an absentee parent she really is.
She makes it appear the opposite.
Takes our son around and brags herself up and pretends that she takes care if him all the time and his dad is not around.
My son even told me what her friends think.
It pisses me off, but whatever.
It's just what liars do I guess?

    Thanks.

Thats how it is with my grandsons mom. We have him almost full time. The only time she sees him is when she wants to get a picture of the two of them for Face Book, so she can pretend she is there all the time. Reality is, she doesnt see him but a couple of days a week, and then, at times, she cant even watch him the full day because she has OTHER plans. Poor little guy, cries when I bring him over to her for a visit. He screams, no mommies house, I want to go to Daddies house....its really sad.

  • Awww....I can relate exactly.
She just showed up this morning out of nowhere and I had to wake my son up.
He was so scared of her having to wait for him out in her car he said "Oh no" then he just got up and left and didn't eat or brush his teeh or anything.
She said that she was dropping him off at 4 and going to the city until Wednesday.
    "Must be nice" I said.
    Anyway that's life.
Gotta be careful who you marry and have kids with, but I love my son so it was all worth it I guess?

I'm sorry to hear that you guys are dealing with a similar situation.
