Are you living life to it's fullest? What does that mean to you?

I would say I am not.  There are things I want to do, but certain life altering circumstances have put that off for the time being.

I do always try and find little moments in a day to be grateful for.

    Yes...
    to me it means
    experiencing the
    absolute Truth within,
    and living within that awareness.
    After that the blessings
that were never known fall into place.

In that context, then I would say I am living the life I want to be living.

    Great answer Baba.

  • What kind of life would you like to live Pearl?

  • To me it means that I'm doing everything I can do. It may not mean that I'm doing everything I want to do, but if I'm living life to the best of abilities, then to me that means I'm living it to the fullest. There are certain things life can't be. But I take advantage of everything that it can be.

  • Probably as fully as I can.
I have more projects and regular chores than I can possibly keep up with.
I need to pace myself with time out to relax.
It feels full, and it feels good.

  • I mean, I guess it's nice to get little tips about grammar and puctuation if people ask for it, but I would rather you just answer my questions or move on Randy.
Otherwise it comes across a little bit rude.

I think I kinda understand your issue as I suffer from certain obsessive compulsive tendencies myself.
I feel for you that you have to correct every little detail all the time and I know that it's not easy when it just eats at you.
I hope you can find peace.
    Good luck.

    (kind of)

If you don't want grammar-related responses, don't post grammatical errors.

  • Is it policy on this site that grammar has to be perfect?

Of course not, nor have I ever stated that it should be.

  • Then you really shouldn't be harassing me about it.
It's not policy here so it's not necessary to correct everyone.

Waaah. You're not being harassed.  What if I told you that I consider poor grammar to be harassment?

Just like you're suggesting to me that I should ignore poor grammar, you also have the choice of ignoring me. You'd be surprised how well that would work out for you.

  • Or you could just stop Randy.
I think you're a cool guy, but that grammar thing is hard to handle sometimes.
    You know?
People come here to talk about their issues and try to feel better and it is irritating to be criticized over grammar and punctuation.
Like, people have bigger problems in their lives and not everyone cares about grammar.
Maybe you should have your own group for that rather than imposing your view onto me.

Ok, you win. I don't have any problem with you whatsoever, I've enjoyed your posts from the beginning. I don't do anything different with you than I do with anyone else who posts those errors, and I'm already well aware of the impression I make in others with it. I don't harbor any illusion that folks are head over heels about my stance on grammar.

Like I said, you win: I won't mess with you about grammar if and when you don't post ant any errors.

  • You need to stop.
If you're harassing me it's like trolling.
That is against policy as far as I know.

  • You tried to pull a little trick at the end of your reply saying that you won't mess with me if I don't make any mistakes.

You have to understand that it does really bother me and it ruins this site for me sometimes.
I'm not perfect and I don't feel like I should have to be.
I just want to enjoy this place in peace.

I respect your right to be perfect and use proper grammar.
Please respect my right to miss an apostrophe here and there or word a question incorrectly every now and then.

Let's just let each other be.

And you have to understand that poor grammar REALLY bothers me.  Basically, you're asking me to ignore something that I have difficulty ignoring, yet you're not willing to ignore me when I do it. You're not the first to ask me not to respond to his or her posts, and not the first I had to remind that this is an open forum. I don't dictate to anyone how he or she should write, if I post something about grammar, it's not an order or a mandate that requires you to change your  posts, so dictating to me how I should respond isn't fair play.

I get it that it annoys people. Poor grammar annoys me also. When there is no poor grammar, I do not do it.

  • You get that you're annoying people, but you continue to do it.
Don't you see how that is selfish Randy?
It's no different than what Rosie was doing.
You're getting in the way of the other users enjoying their time using this site because you are acting like your needs are more important than everyone else's.

Do you get that there are things that annoy me also?  You're more important, so it's ok to annoy.
