Interestingly enough (for me only perhaps), without italics or quotations to indicate it is a song, book, or movie, for the first time in my life, I realized it has the same format as any typical curse--i.e., "Oh, (Whatever.)"
~ after listening to many youtube renditions, this one keeps the simplicity of the melody intact but, alas, no words. It's still beautiful to me as purely instrumental.
P.S. Well, after listening to the whole thing, during the last half of recording, the melody of the music starts to meander all over the place. I best like the carol sung very simply and innocently and lightly. The first half of the recording here captures the melody well to me.
